Jamming To The Big Bang

Jamming To The Big Bang considers how trauma can divide lived time. A horizontal yellow line crosses the painting like a temporal axis, while events gather around it without returning to a stable sequence. One rupture produces a parallel sense of time: life continues, but no longer in complete congruence with the world around it.

Dense brown and black passages meet an expansive white movement, and small figures appear in the upper right. For the artist, these figures are connected to the form in which death appears in dreams. They are not offered as fixed symbols, but as personal images whose meaning remains bound to an altered state of perception.

The title places this intimate dislocation against the scale of cosmic origin. “Jamming” suggests an attempt to respond through rhythm, improvisation and continued movement. The painting does not promise a return to what existed before; it holds open the possibility that another event may create a different relation to time.
