Der Wind der die Welt davon blies understands wind not as a passing atmospheric event, but as a force that seizes, loosens and carries away an existing order.
The world also has a home in thought. Concepts, memories, expectations and inner images connect perceptions into a familiar reality. In a meditative state of mental stillness, this order can temporarily recede. The physical world does not disappear; rather, its familiar names and connections lose their apparent self-evidence. What remains is not nothingness, but an open field of perception in which the visible has not yet been conclusively classified.
The painting translates this condition not into complete calm, but into movement. Pale fields are crossed by violet, blue and red currents that gather, disperse and return in altered form. Drips and sweeping gestures move in different directions. They create a surface without a stable centre, where connections emerge only to be pulled apart again.
Mixed media and Aquarylic allow transparency, density and fluid movement to coexist. Traces of two painterly hands encounter and overlap one another without merging completely. The collaborative process intensifies the openness of the image: no single perspective maintains complete control over its development.
Der Wind der die Welt davon blies therefore understands dissolution not as destruction, but as interruption. When the world ordered by thought recedes for a moment, perception becomes mobile again — and what appeared fixed can enter a new configuration.
