Form des Menschen developed over several years and carries this temporal layering visibly within it. The work approaches the human being not through a completed portrait, but through traces, concentrations and changes in which body and inner experience enter into relation.

The painted form remains mobile. Lines may recall anatomical structures and dissolve into abstract gestures in the next moment. Overlapping fields of colour allow earlier decisions to remain visible; additions and revisions are not concealed, but form an essential part of the surface.

The human being therefore appears less as a fixed figure than as an ongoing process. Perception, memory and physical presence alter one another, while identity emerges between continuity and change.

Form des Menschen condenses this development into an image that does not close off its own period of creation. The work remains an open counterpart—shaped by what has endured and by what changed across the years.
